Last week I grumbled a bit about wanting Halloween glitter polish. A couple days later Lynn comes home with these two. While it wasn't quite what I had in mind ... he gets so much praise for listening to me and trying. I had in mind something more like this, with larger glitter. It wasn't his fault for not knowing that and he was so sweet to try and surprise me with new polish.
*laugh* I'm incredibly lucky. Lynn will go in and purchase if he has a really good idea of what I'm looking for. Dragon will at least accompany me in the stores. He's really not happy in said stores though. :)
Very pretty! And props to Lynn for paying attention and trying!
For the most part, guys don't really "get" nailpolish. When I did my nails for the wedding last weekend, the spousebeast was flabbergasted that I remembered it was the same shade I was wearing when we spent Valentine's Day together....five years ago.
He got lots of praise and special attention for trying. ;)
I know he doesn't really get it but he knows what day I do my nails on and he checks them out when he gets home. When I do Miss Kid's nails he is sure to check them out too.

I started laughing though, at the thought of my own guy wandering into the world of nail polish - would. never. ever. happen. never. :-P
