Steadfast Love
I'd walk a 1000 miles, just for you.

Things are not all bad. I've been very spoiled in many ways. This'll just be the physical things I've gotten recently, though I won't be able to keep all of it.

First, my friend Dave made the spindle wheel for me. :squee: He even made extra spindles so that I can easily ply up to 6 singles together at once, or work on multiple projects. I'm still working on winding on after I've spun a bit and keeping the wheel going consistently since it keeps wanting to yank the other direction. But I'm making yarn!

Then boxes began appearing at my door.

The gold was purchased, the other two were completely free and a surprise.

I have 5 skeins of that first yarn waiting for my needles and happy fingers to be turned into a commissioned shawl. I have 2 skeins of the second green, it's for a commissioned cowl that will be adorned with the gold beads. A completely new box came with the lone skein of brown, since Knit Picks had a great offer to let people try their newest yarn line. Then I happened across a yarn sale on Ravelry and next thing I knew a little over 6.5 skeins of this (a sweater's worth, wonder what I'll make!) ended up at my door.

On our anniversary weekend I happened to find the perfect pair of shoes and Lynn knew I'd been looking for them for close to a year so he wouldn't let me pass them up. They are seriously the most comfortable heels I've worn in such a long time!

Thanks to another commission I had yet another box of yarn pop up at my door! 7 skeins of Palette yarn to make cute little crochet peoples!

So there's plenty to be happy about and to have fun with. I can't wait to start playing with some of this yarn either. It's going to be awesome!

Now that I can see everything all together... it looks like the cowl will blend it rather nicely with the shawl and those gold beads are going to POP!

I can't tell what they sent you for free (that rocks... you get secret prezzie! Cool!) bead wise. But do something AWESOME with it.

Ohhhh if you ever need beads of the seed bead type... let me know I have a PLETHORA left over from projects that I will never use for myself (of course, I had no GOLD which is what I wanted). I will ship them to you just to get RID of them. LOL....

Oh.... and if you are ever curious, I need to introduce you to weaving sticks.... :) Even I can use them, and they are inexpensive and really cool for things like belts and straps... :) and left over yarn... and home spun yarn and.... yeah...

I'm not sure what they are as I haven't even taken them out of the bag yet. LOL I'll have to find something fun to do with them.

I would love beads! There's so many designs that use them and several that I'd like to create. ;)

Weaving sticks are interesting. The girlfriend has produced a few interesting things with them but I've not tried them yet. :D
